The position
Join our Operations Team and help run the cutting-edge platforms behind our security solutions — where your expertise drives real operational excellence.
Your mission
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across our production environments
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize applications and infrastructure in production, pre-production and test environments
  • Manage Linux systems, networks, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  • Automate operations using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting (Bash, Python, AWK)
  • Operate and troubleshoot application components (e.g., CYAN services, Tomcat, MQ systems, Redis, Kafka, nginx, DNS services)
  • Maintain and improve monitoring tools (Nagios) and ensure reliable alerting
  • Provide 1st & 2nd level technical support via JIRA Service Desk and in direct customer interactions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure stable and secure operations
  • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to improve our operational landscape
Your profile
  • Degree in computer science, IT security, or a related field
  • Several years of hands-on experience in IT Operations, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar technical role
  • Several years of experience in the administration and operation of production systems, ideally in security-focused environments
  • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, database management, and cloud infrastructures (AWS)
  • Practical experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Aerospike
  • Experience working with version control systems (Git) and scripting languages (Bash, Python, AWK)
  • Strong communication skills and customer focus, including experience in support, documentation, reporting, and presentations
  • A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and readiness to take responsibility
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken); German is a plus

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 3.843 gross/month (ST1/" Regelstufe") based on full-time employment. Of course, there is a willingness to overpay in line with the market depending on qualifications and professional experience.
