Cybersecurity Analyst (M/F/D) - Parttime

The position
We are a cutting-edge technology company leveraging advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to detect and mitigate online threats. Our Threat Intelligence team focuses on identifying new and unknown threats while minimizing false positives, ensuring our customers’ security in a dynamic digital landscape.
Your mission
  • Analyze current security trends and assess their impact on our product and customers. 
  • Identify online threats using a combination of manual analysis and OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence) based on data from our product. 
  • Deepen understanding of emerging threats by conducting investigations for enhanced security analysis. 
  • Develop innovative methods to detect new threats using diverse data sources, employing traditional data analysis or machine/deep learning techniques. 
  • Share findings internally and publicly through team discussions, blog posts, and threat reports. 
Your profile
  • Background in computer networks, security analysis or threat intelligence. 
  • Knowledge of common attack techniques and current threat landscapes. 
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and data analysis. 
  • Experience with OSINT, including the ability to pivot based on discovered indicators. 
  • Willingness to dive deeper into the product to uncover critical information for threat detection (Problem-Solving Mindset).
Nice to have: 
  • Cybersecurity certifications (GIAC or SANS certifications) 
  • Exposure to machine learning and deep learning techniques. 
  • Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Bash or Java. 
  • Experience with phishing or scam website detection 
  • Experience with writing blog posts or technical articles
  • Experience in phishing detection or handling threat indicators and feeds
